Can anyone please provide some information regarding authorization concept in SAP APO module. Any help on this is highly apprreciated.

The authorization concept depends on the release of your application. SCM 7 uses the new analysis authorizations concept like BI 7. You can find out more about this through the SAP security guides at Link: [https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/securityguide]
