roles autorized for this users

Hi,

I could not logon from R3 to XI in SM59 though I have given the right parameters in technical settings and right user ID, password,client etc......

Is this anyway related to roles authorized for the users(SAPUSER for SAP R3 and XISUPER for XI) ?

How do I check the roles autorized for this users ?

I check Both system (SAP R3 and XI)

In XI system

user: XISUPER

I checked the Roles Tab

In Profile Compar.Status

SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC

SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR

Above mentioned two roles are eith Red circle when I move the cursor on this, it says comparison required and Type of the role are single role

In SAP R3 system

User: sapuser

there is no role, Its completely blank

Is it because of this I could not logon to XI from R3?

pls help

you mean from SM59 -> Remote connetion?

are you able to do a test connection from SM59 (SAP-ABAP)?

AFAIK, sapuser shld have role.

yes Its SM59--->remote connection. Test connection is working but I am unable to do remote logon

In my XI system, I have

SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC

SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR

The above two roles are with red color circle, (anything wrong with this)

The below all are with green square

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER

SAP_XI_DEVELOPER

SAP_XI_MONITOR.

I will compare with the roles you have mentioned and create it.

Hi Go to Tcode- Su01 and double click the roles and check the Authorization is valid with date and in green color ..

Now I am in SAP R3 and now for SAPUSER, what are all the Roles I have to Create in SAP R3 using SAPUSER?

I could not find the roles you have mentioned below.

My problem is I dont have any roles in my SAPR3 when I logon using SAPUSER.

I want to create roles in SAP R3 for SAPUSER.

Actually I have to create RFC destination pointing to XI and logon to XI from SAP R3.

when I was trying to create roles in SAP R3->PFCG->createrole--->F4 I could not find out the roles you mentioned.

pardon me If I misunderstood anything.

Pls help
