Planned Cost for material assigned to Activity

When a material is assigned to a network activity in the project and

the reservation is done for the WBS element, then the COST REL

indicator becomes disabled. As a result,the activity planned cost from

the material assignment to activity does not come.However the same

thing does not happen when the material is reserved for the Network.

The Project profile has got Non Valuated stock indicator as that is the

requirement.

Hi,

Case 1: Reservation for wbs

Plan cost does not get updated when you are maintaining non valuated stock. When you select Non-valuated stock system makes material irrelevant for costing (removes cost relevancy tick).

This happens because material procured under this category will be received in Project stock, whcih you have defined non valuated.

Case 2: Reservation for network

In this case, material will be received in plant stock (which you have not defined non valuated). Thus system allows you to edit the cost relevancy indicator.
