SAP Standard jobs are cancelled

Hi,

In one of BI (Netweaver 2004s) boxes SAP standard jobs are being canceled , for example sap_ccms_moni_batch_dp background job which runs hourly is being canceled at times and being finished successfully at other times.

Job log says "you can only work in client 001".

Plz let me know what could be the possible reason?

Hello

SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP is client independent program and this program schedules data-collectors for monitoring. The abortion of the job might occured, because BW processes (data-collectors), which are client dependent, were executed in client 001 instead of productive client.

Would suggest you to follow the following steps:

1. Delete the job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP with SM37

2. Re-define the job as follows through RZ21 while logged on in

Productive Client.

RZ21 -> Technical Infrastructure

-> Method Execution

-> Activate background dispatching.

Hi,

Since its happening only a few times. any of the jobs would be clashing with one another. also, check the user id for the reports scheduled.

Is this happening for all the jobs.. Are there any errors in system logs/ abap dumps during the same time that the jobs are failing ?

Hello,

To cross check the cause mentioned by Sandeep you can set the Job Class (High Priority) to A.

Or update the system Logs for further investigation
