In file adapter i have a source file name and in target side i need a value what should i do for that.

I havnt get yr question,what value you want on the target side.
If you want the same source file name than you can use this Michal blog, it will help you out.

Please enable Adapter Speciffic Message Attributes check box in ur sender file adapter, and in ur receiver again do the same, while checkin file name

If u want to go for same file name for target as source ,you can acieve this by Adapter-specific message properties...

are you talking about getting the same file name in the source at the target ???

u need to create MI, mapping and configuration in ID. check for blogs on fiel scenarios
