Difference between Scheduling at WBS Level and at Network Level

What is the difference between scheduling at the WBS Level and Scheduling the Network i.e. what is the difference between these two processes ?

Hi,

In my opionion there is no difference. You have to see the scheduling in whole. What you can customize is what are the basic dates used for scheduling: do you want the to use the network basic dates or do you want to use the WBS basic dates. The network will be scheduled using the basic dates (forward or backward)

Next you have several possibilities to determine the WBS basic dates at the different hierarchical levels: bottum up or top down.

Roughly this is what happens during scheduling.
