Workflow: Passing Values to Next Work Item Screen.

Dear Experts,

Am doing wkflw for the first time... So, not much familiar with the flow.

Well, I've triggered my Workflow sucessfully and the work item is recieved by the next agent in his inbox.

Well, when the agent opens up the work item (Which goes to the selection screen), need the fields to be automatically populated (not all).

I understand that those fields passed in Business Object key fields are poplulated Automatically, what do i need to do if the field that i need to pass in is not the part of Business Object key?

How do i pass this field to the Business Object key, so that i could see it automatically populated, when the agent opens up the work item?

Valuable inputs would be really helpful!!!

Dear Carsten,

Thanks for the informative links!

I found the solution already.

The field that i needed, is a key field. Checked with my functional owner.

So adding the field to the BO key field -> Regenerating the objects -> Binding the objects in WFO builder -> And coding my display function module solved the issue.
