Validate Customer Date (e.g telephone number to only be numberic)

Hi SAP Gurus

Does anyone have any idea how you go about validating Data e.g when creating a customer and you enter their telephone number that it only accepts numbers(05555) or if its an e-mail address it must be like this sap@world.com.

Dear Phenyo,

From 4.6c onwards, Field exits will no more be supported by SAP.

Hence, my suggestion to you is to use a proper BAdi/Enhancement to check if the telephone number entered is numeric etc.

Check this at SPRO-General Settings-Set Countries-Country codes telephone define exceptions. U will find the solution.

You can use Field-exit, with this method you can check one field in one window.
