Sap solution manager mandatory for which Sap version??

Dear All,

Sap Solution manager is mandatory for which version of sap?

I think its Ecc 5.0 onwards.....

but i need the note number in which it is mentioned that Solution manager is Mandtory for ..... version.

It's mandatory for ALL PRODUCTS based on NW2004s/Netweaver 7.0 which is

ERP 6.0 (former name: ERP 2005/ECC 6.0)

CRM 5.0

SRM 5.0

SolMan 4.0

NW 7.0 (BW, SEM et al)

for ALL support packages (means ABAP + Java corrections) released after April 2nd. Kernel patches are NOT part of that.
