Execute: smitty pgsp

Change/show Characteristics

-- select hd6

-- Type in enough LPs to bring it up to 2 GB,

Hi Akhil,

AIX is a basically UNIX but developed by IBM.. (as far as i know)

Basically you need to telnet into the system and run those commands in the AIX terminal,

If Telnet is enabled in the box just type in the windows command prompt telnet <hostname or ipaddress> -> Then you'll be prompted for username and password if you havent install the system the best is logon as root (Unix administrator account) and then just execute the commands you need.

If Telnet is not avalable you can download a little program called putty.exe and then just enter the hostname of the server you want to connect and again you'll get a terminal screen where you'll have to enter username and password... etc

Read here a basic guide for unix

Hope this help
