what are the disadvantages of local clinet copy and remote client copy when companred to client export and import.

The main difference is that client export creates files on the server, where the remote or local copy do not (except for log files). This is an advantage if you want to export your client at one time and import it later, also you can re-import from the same export many times to refresh your client. Also, if your destination system is on a different network this would need a client export.

If you don't need any of these things a remote copy is better, or a local copy if your clients are on the same instance.

export and import will took you more time than local/remote copy ... with database of 200-300GB it can be a day of your life
