Does the import function support full variety of wsdl , xsd and dtd?

Yes. I supports. My client uses all these formats and he will give the source and target structures in this format only.

Not exactly all.

XI supports WSDL in document-style. Other styles are internally converted but ideally should be converted to document format beforehand
