Hi everyone,
I am trying to configure ADS on NW 2004s SP12 with backend ECC6IDES.
When i create a ADS destination of type G using SM59 and test the connection, it gives me the error ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED only for client 800.
But when i test the connection for client 400, it executes successfully and i get the connection details.
I have checked the HTTP port status. It is showing as Active.
Also when i check the URL in the Target System Settings Tab of the RFC destination, it gives me the version number for the PDFDocument.
I have checked most of the threads but none are solving my issue.
Any answers would be highly appreciated.
Both the clients viz 800 and 400 are of the same application server viz ECC6IDES.
I also tried execting the other tests like the ones for :
FP_TEST_00
FP_PDF_TEST_00
FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE in trans. SA38 but, i get the SOAP Runtime error.

Hello,
for me this seems a generic ICM question. What makes me wonder is that both SM59 and ICM are client independent, so there should be no difference between clients.
Are you sure you are on the same application server in both case?
Do you have more application servers in the system?
Best regards,
Dezso
