extended classic scenario , SRM 5.0
We have a dynamic attribute (percentage) , it has been maintained wth domain MENG13 , which is QUAN type,
the system does not differentiate between 0% and value not entered. (This is an inherent property of data type QUAN, i guess)
we have to maintain 0 % as a valid entry for the dynamic attribute, as we create bids for bidders.
if the value is not maintained , there is an error message prompting the user to do so .
but this error message show up every time as the system does not distinguish between 0 % and null value.
How to deal with this ?
if we could assign fixed values/ interval to that domain (0-100) the system would have recognised 0. but apparantly we cant assign fixed value to data type QUAN.
on ITS , we get a list box dropdown for unit if the data type is QUAN and not for others , we need that too.
Did anybody face this problem ?
