Migrate custom ESS applications to Web Dynpro ?

Hi,

I have done major changes to existing ESS applications and also developed custom ESS applications based on module pool with BusinessHTML and ITS on SAP 4.6C. I wish to migrate these applications to Web Dynpro as we're moving to ERP/2004 with Netweaver'04.

I have read documentation on creating Web Dynpro accessing a BAPI/RFC on R/3 backend. Can anyone share his/her experience in converting applications developed using module pool/dialog program (where the business logic embeded within the module pool) with BusinessHTML (for UI) be re-written or converted to Web Dynpro ?
