Ordering party has to be a company

Hi All,

I have the following error when i post PO from R/3 to SUS.

An error occured within an XI interface: Exception occurredA:BBP_BUPA:263 -Ordering party has to be a company Programm: CX_BBP_BD_ERROR===============CP; Include: CX_BBP_BD_ERROR===============CM002; Line: 57

But intrestingly when i reprocess it SXMB_MONI in SUS system with out changing anything it gets posted...and PO gets created in SUS.

Can any one tell us what could be the reason.

Hi Jagan,

this is a typical error related to missing company codes in SUS.

The company codes used must have an entry in the mapping table

bbp_sus_bpcmpmap. To accomplish this, use trx BBP_SP_COMP_INI

to map the company code to your SUS system.

Have you defined a purchasing company in SUS ?

Transaction BBP_SUS_BP_ADM:

1. Expand the Business partner folder.

2. Choose Business partner as company code.

3. In the selection screen, enter the following data:

The company code (corresponding company code in MM system)

Address and tax information

Other information if required

4. Choose Execute.
