When I ran the patch extracted file SAPINST.exe from the D:\J2EE Patch\SAPINST-CD\SAPINST\NT\I386, the system is asking for the CD J2EE Engine 6.30.

Why is the system asking for the CD J2EE Engine 6.30,

when we already installed the J2EE 640 SP9???? (This patch we are applying on BIW 3.5 system when has ABAP stack & Java stack (Add-In)).

Thanks,

Nikee

Hi Nikee,

This should not bother you. Actually, after SP3 or SP4 (I'm not 100% sure) J2EE Engine 6.30 is called 6.40, it's just a question of naming.

You should give the installer the path to the ...\J2EE-CD\J2EE-ENG directory.

Enjoy!
