remote login problem

i have created one rfc dstination in SAP R/3 system pointing to XI system..

when i am testing the connection its ok.but when i am goin to TEST menu and then Authorization option its showing user name or password is incorrect.

when i am pressing remote logon button a new session is opened with some crap id and ask for password.

user id and password is ok..client is ok..

hi,

Check ur rfc destination logon in details in sm59 it may be username or password error in that.

both user name and password are ok.but when going to TEST menu and then authorization its showing user id or passwd is incorrect.

Hi

You need to use PIAPPLUSER/XIAPPLUSER in sm59 for your http connection to XI from R/3

i have created one type 3 rfc destination.

balance load ---no

target host--given

system no--given

trusted system ---no

language--EN

client--given

user-given

passwd--given

userid and passwd both are correct..

even not able to remote logon.

check it the user is locked in the XI system

no its not locked....we can logon to XI system with that user id.

check the paramters you have given in sm59

May be you have entered the wrong client.

also try to login with XISUPER,

if it allows, then the problem is clearly with the roles assigned to the current user

Rohit,

you should create RFC of TYPE "T" not "3" 3 for ABAP to ABAP system.

But,i m sending it to ABAP system..and dat's why i m using type 3.wat's the error??

Hello Rohit,

Type 3 should be fine. Please check whether the User id is present in the destination system or not.... i hope basic roles for logon is sufficient.

>> then this is not valid. you need to say R/3 to R/3 not XI. use the target R/3 system userid and passsword. ask basis for this

If I am Not Wrong U R Doing the RFC Connection Between Two R/3 Systems .Is it ??

Or U r Trying to do it Between R/3 And XI Systems ????

Hi,

Actually my scenario is IDoc-XI-IDoc.So,firstly i m creating a RFC connection between R/3 & XI.I am not able to get u?Is dere a difference between the connections wen u made between R/3 & R/3 and between R/3 & XI. i am creating a connection of type 3 between the R/3& XI.

for you requirement you are rightly creating connection of type 3
