Hi all,
Is it mandatory always to have Mapping program inside integration process, If I use BPM.
Can I use mapping program outside BPM? If so, then how it will get executed?
Please explain me.
Thanks
Prabhu.
Short answer: You can have a mapping inside and outside of BPM.
In BPM to execute a mapping program, you use a transformation step - this references an interface mapping (which in turn references a message mapping).
In the ID you can use the interface mapping during Interface Determination.
As such - if you have a BPM that has sends/receive steps, then you would need to configure interface determination for these steps - at this point you can then use interface mappings.

If you consider Integration Process as "BPM", then , the answer is no
If you consider Integration Process as any "Integration Scenario", then also the answer is no
Can I use mapping program outside BPM? If you have a mapping program, you need to be using that in inside your BPM .(design)..
