Hi,
how can I install a additional dialoginstance with batchprocesses which should only use by user which logged on this instance. That means no load balancing of batch.
Bye
Heike
Hi,
this is not depending on the installation of the instance.
You need to configure your system accordingly.
When an enduser schedules a job, there will be load balancing, meaning no instance is given in the job parameters.
When you schedule a job with SM36 you can enter the instance of you choice.
So if your users are using SM36 to schedule jobs, simply tell them wich instance to use.
If the users are normal end users, there is no configuration possibility. And I think it is very unpractical to modify the applications to use only one instance.
So the question is: why do you want to schedule all jobs only on this one instance?

Sascha
