Hi
well, according to the Oracle Press Release my understanding was that it just has been released 7 days ago
http://www.oracle.com/corporate/press/2007_jul/database-11g.html
"NEW YORK CITY 11-JUL-2007 06:30 AM Oracle today introduced Oracle(r) Database 11g, the latest release of the world's most popular database. With more than 400 features, 15 million test hours, and 36,000 person-months of development, Oracle Database 11g is the most innovative and highest quality software product Oracle have ever announced."

this was the announcement.
Inofficial SAP support time frame: not before Q3 / 2008.
I can only report from the past:
we where not able in Oracle9 and Oracle10 to work with the .1 version - not stable enough, not available on all platforms. Even with the .2 version we still had serious problems which prevent us to release them in their .2.0.1.0 release.

Hi,
Still is not out
I know SAP is beta tester ( I hope I'm not wrong )
But still more test will have to be done.
Looking back, I think there will be some Pilot customers with 11g and SAP will release for customers 11g R2.
At least this is what was done with 9i and 10g
