Transaction TAN not defined

I am creating a sales order. I have assigned

Item category -> Document type+Item category group.

Schedule line category-> Item Category + MRP Type (cp=ztan+pd)

The material I am using in sales order has same MRP Type (PD).

Though correct Item category has determined in sales order, it still says in sales order Transaction ZTAN not defined.

MRP Type and item category not defined.

Any suggestions how to fix this problem.

Recall how you created ZTAN, did you define it on your own or copies TAN and created ZTAN.

It is always recommended you copy the nearest item category and create a new one. So if you created ZTAN w/o copying then go back delete ZTAN and copy TAN make required changes and create ZTAN.

Dear

Please check the copy control setting and also check your document type is assigned to sales area.

IMGSD-SALES-SALES DOCUMENTSALES DOCUMENT HEADER--ASSIGN SALES AREA TO DOCUMENT TYPE.

This will solve your issue
