Variant Configuration

I am trying to develop a Configurable material that will be used in quote(VA21). I need the cost to use a Costing Lot Size other than the order quantity entered in the quote. Whether that is inferred from a table using characteristics or calculated using other characteristics in a dependency or something else altogether.

Ideally I would on have one configurable material that could use a different costing lot sizes dependent upon other characteristics I enter during the Value Assignment Screen.

In IMG-> Controlling->Product Cost Controlling->Cost Object controlling->Product Cost By Sales Order ->Preliminary Costing and Order BOM -> Product Costing for Sales Order Items->Costing Variants for Product Costing-> Check Valuation Variants for Product Costing

This defines the priority of which cost to look for 1st. I don't see anything in there that would relate directly to Cost Lot Size.
