Unexplained User Drops

Former Member
0 Kudos

We have been experiencing (for quite some time) users getting kicked off their GUI while using our R/3 system. There seems to be no pattern whether it be PC hardware or connection. Here's the only thing I get in the logs and dev trace files and I can't find any related error text or help in the Notes. Any insight you can add would be helpful.

Thanks,

Roger

This problem is now happening with the same errors as mentioned above and GUI's are patched and basis support pack SAPKB62060 is implemented. Please advise on any other scenarios where this error can happen.

Please try upgrading your kernel support pack level and the SAP GUI Support Pack Level.

Also take a look at ST22. You might get some clue about exceeding maximum work process run time, etc.

Thank you.

SAP007,

Thanks for the suggestion. Before I got your response I actually patched the GUI on the user's PC to 640_22 and that stopped the drops. Regardless, you deserve points for being right on the money.

Thanks,

Roger
