Mismatch of forecast values when released from DP to SNP

Former Member

Hello,

I am using the same Time bucket profiles in both DP and SNP planning books. When I release the Demand plan to SNP, in some of the time buckets, the forecast values are not matching. For e.g.

My final Demand Plan values for the weeks:

08/27/2007 = 100

09/03/2007 = 100

When I release above values to SNP, it appears like this:

08/27/2007 = 50

09/03/2007 = 150

Individual week values are differing, but if we look at the aggregate of 2 weeks it is matching.

One more observation is, this mismatch happens only for some locations and 4 time buckets in the entire horizon (these buckets are (08/27/07, 09/03/07) and (11/26/07, 12/03/07).

Can someone please help me to solve this issue)

Thanks,

Sarath.

Are you using Calender week or Company specific planning calender wise week?

as this two defination of week is diffrent, because of it you may see the diffrent values in the SNP.

If you are using SCM 5, Try too see more details of the Period Split.

Or implement BAPI for Release of the forecast as per your requirement.

Hello,

Try to give in only the Release horizon and not the planning buckets profile or daily buckets profile. In SNP, the shipping calendar you use for the location determines the corresponding workdays and populates the time buckets accordingly.

Let us know if this works at all!
