Hi Raj,
You need to calculate statistics for your backup cube.
You can do this in transaction RSA1.
1.- Go to transaction RSA1
2.- In the menu, select Tools->Settings for BI Statistics
3.- Select InfoProvider tab
4.- Select your infocube from the list
5.- Select the settings that you want to use (I´m using X On, and 2 All)
6.- Click button Replace Values.
That's all.
I hope this can help you.

Thanks for your answer. So let me correct my self
1.For calculate statistics in planning object structure do we need to do any thing there?
2. Do we need to run "calculate statistics" before loading data in back up cube?
3. Do we need to ststistics after we send the data in back up cube?
Sorry my questions may be stupid but need to understand
It will really great if you respond me
Thanks a Lot

Raj
No problem Raj,
The steps that i show you above are to calculate statistics in the backup cube. If you want to calculate statistics in the POS you can follow this steps:
Enter transaction code /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN, click on Planning Area button and select Plng Object Structures.
Select your planning object structure and click over it with the right button of the mouse.
In the menu select Manage Performance.
The screen Toolbox for Planning Object Structures appear.
In Action Selection section select Calculate Statistics, and execute.
It is not mandatory that you calculate statistics before an extraction runs, these statistics are only for performance reasons, so, i think that it is good to calculate statistics of your POS when you add or delete some CVC's.
You can use the steps to calculate statistics in infocubes to calculate the statistics of your POS infocube. This infocube is an infocube that the system create for internal use. This infocube has the same name that your POS.
Hope this can help you.

Hi Raj,
The statistics calculation works like this. It reads the infocubes attached to the POS and gets all the necessary tables related to these infocubes. Then it checks against the table RSADMIN for the object DB_STATISTICS.
If you need to more on how exactly it works, explore the function module
RSDU_ANALYZE_INFOCUBE.
Thanks!
PV
