HOW TO HIDE UNWANTED MATERIAL TYPES IN MMO1

Dear all!

In the production client, while creating material by MM01, except some material types to be shown and others to be hidden.

If all material type are shown then the users getting confused which one to chosen. So, how to remove or hide the unwanted material types?

Good option is suggested by Keerti.

The user responsible for creating material Master will know which is the appropriate Material Type & he can select it instead of automating it. It is not advisable to disturb thebasic SAP settings, as you may have touse other material type in future.
