Release change request. It remains in pending

Hi all,

when I try to release directly a change request from my development system it started but it remains in pending with the following message "tp successfully connected". In the process of the operating system (W2000) it is present but it does not work.

If I stop the transaction after long time, the process is still present in the list of active process.

This is my SAP release:

SAP R3 Enterprise 470x200 on Windows 2000 server - DB Oracle 9.2.0.6.0

Kernel 640 not unicode patch level 101

Could you please help me??

have a look into directory

\usr\sap\trans\tmp

and additionaly to the latest

\usr\sap\trans\log\SLOG*

file.

specially the 2nd file should normaly tell you more.

Many Thanks Peter,

I look in the directory \usr\sap\trans\log and I have seen that there was a lock in a file. I renamed the file in old and now the CR release works.
