SubString of a Japanese Text

Hi,

there is a mainString in which all the values are concatenated.

So to retrieve the values we should subString the Main String.

For English it is working fine ..But if i try the same code for Japanes its not.

while retrieving the vales from r3 we get the Japanese text if the language is Japanese..

so while doing the substring we dont get the proper values...

In R3 values are stored in english only but the problem is that 2-3 english charecters makes a single japanese text...here i am gettign error ..is there any way to resolve it...
