Error in Java Transports.

Dear All,

Need your help.

We are on JDI SP8. And in the runtime system we have our SAP CRM systems configured. We are facing a problem while transporting a java request which was released via NWDS since yesterday.

We had a request which had to be transported to the test environment. The request was successfully transported to the dev environment. But while transporting it to the Test system, the request ran for almost 2 days. The status was in status running. After that we clicked on the request and then pressed unlock request. The request status changed to "Waiting for import". But after that, when I clicked on import truck button to import again, the import is failing and its showing the following error : :

What could be the problem. We had even restarted the JDI server but still facing the issue. The SDM is up and running. I just checked out and the slddsuser password had expired, so I reset it and then did a test in visual admin which was successfull as well. I tried again with the import, but it fails and gives the above mentioned error. What could be the cause, please help as we are stuck and need to resolve this issue. Will surely reward points if anything helpful.

SDM on the target system is stuck. Stop and restart SDM on the target system, and then re-try the import.

BTW, I would check the logs on the target system for a clue as to why SDM got stuck in the first place. It blocked for some reason - while restarting SDM may fix the problem, the cause should still be determined.

I ran into the same problem last week, and the SDM restart did fix the problem. Unfortunately, further investigation didn't yield any more clues, so we're currently monitoring the problem.

Even I thought so and did the same & it worked now. But actually, I transported one request and it went of successfully, while transporting the other request in the queue, i got the following error, can you help me on this.

Well, the pertinent part of the stack trace is this:

It seems that there's an internal issue with the engine. While I hate recommending this, try restarting the cluster (if possible) and try to re-deploy. Failing that, I would open a ticket with SAP to get them to look at it.

Is there any other information in the default trace log file?

The error was resolved, there was a problem with the SDM password & it was changed and the import worked.
