Hi,

I have got a requirement of saving all the data ( UI elements + data entered by user) of a view of wedynpro to an Excel file. Please note that this view may contain input elements, text edits, images etc. Could anyone guide me how to do this. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Srikanth.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your answers. I have already checked the tutorials of transferring context data to Excel file, but major problem is formatting & styles. We need to reformat again whether we import using XML or third part Excel Java API's.

Is there no other way of downloading the whole content of view to any type of file like excel, word, PDF etc? I am OK with the type of file, as along as am able to sending whole webdynpro view data to a file with same format of webdynpro view.

Waiting for solutions,

Srikanth.

Hi Srikanth,

To get the contents including UI elements, I think the only way is to copy-paste from browser to excel. U can even copy to Word also.

To export the contents, see this thread
