About j2ee engine?

i am new to this portal,i want to implemnt ejb application in SAP nw developer AS,

for that it require j2ee engine,is it coming along with SAP nw developer AS or we have to download separatly?

if dw load pls send the link for that.

Hi,

The AS abbreviation is for Application Server, which is a j2ee certified engine. Thus EJB-s will be supported. Different j2ee specification versions are supported in different server versions.

The latest Java EE 5 specification that includes EJB 3.0 is also covered as seen from the official sun page

Which version of SAP Web AS you are using

If you are using SAP WAS 6.40(Java Stack or ABAP+JAVA), it supports java development

confirm If you have java stack or ABAP+JAVA stack, In both the cases SAP WAS 6.40 has a J2ee 1.3 engine fully integrated with it.
