How to create my own JMSCorrelationID ?

We have an RFC to MQ(JMS) scenario. We would like to use our own "CorrelationID", since the one being generated by XI (we use PI 7.0 SP11 and SP12) is 36 bytes long (CorrelationID and-or the ConversationID) and my client production backend systems has been design and built using a 24bytes CorrelationId.

My understanding is the “CorrelationID” can be anything, but must be unique for the time of the thread at runtime.

Hi Henrique,

I have passed the (SDN) ThreadId you gave me to my XI/Developer. He will try what you suggest. We will see how it goes.
