I've read the SAP installation guide for SAP Netweaver 2004's, but I don't understand the installation sequence in a cluster. Anybody have a own guide with the steps to install it ?

Thank's in advance

The installation order is the following:

- cluster software (HACMP) and set up filesystems

- ASCS (using SAP virtual hostname)

- SCS (using SAP virtual hostname)

- central instance

- database instance

- dialog instances

I've execute the next steps (I install DB+CI in the same node) :

- cluster software (HACMP) and set up filesystems

- ASCS (using SAP virtual hostname)

- SCS (using SAP virtual hostname)

- database instance

I think is the correct steps. After that I execute the "central instance" but the sapinst advise me that another central instance with number 00 exist. Are you sure is necessary to execute all steps ?

For the CI you must use a instance number different from ASCS and SCS.

Then you have ASCS00 (abap), SCS01 (java) and 02 for the central instance ?

Dou you have an owner guide of the installation ?

Yes, it's right.

ASCS, SCS and CI are three different instances, so they must have different number, at least when CI is installed on a cluster node.

About the guide, the you have to get the nw2004s ABAP+JAVA guide and look into the HA section.
