Web dynpro Error - 'The page cannot be displayed'

Hi,

I'm getting error - 'The page cannot be displayed'. When

1) i'm trying to run the webdynpro application

2) In the layout editor of view.

I did all the configuration setting, I mean actived ICF, View designer services.

but i still get above error. I heard about ICM services. Do i have to do anything with that? how to fix this error?

Plz help me.

Hi Anil

If the Application server is in your local network

Open Internet Explorer and choose tools->Internet Options

Choose the connection tab and choose Lan Settings..

choose Advanced and in the Exceptions write your server URL

and make sure your server name is mentioned in the host file.

Go to SICF transaction and go to your service and test it from there .
