And also, if the trans directory is mounted from any external system, just check if the folder is properly mounted and shared between all the systems in the landscape.

Hi All,

My issue was resolved as we found that there are some issues with the network settings which blocked some ports.

After opening that ports.... we were able to fix this issue automatically.

Thanks for your inputs.

Hi,

I have tried to run the three tests. Connection test was successful. Transport tool have some few errors and Transport directory has all errors. In detail:

*******************

Transport Tool:

tp Interface - Successful

RFC Destination - Successful

Transport Profile:

Path:
imo45\transport\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN - Successful

Profile: tp profile cannot be read

Version: tp profile has an invalid format

tp Call:

RFC Link - Successful

tp Version - Successful

DB Connect - Link to Database failed

Offline Call - Error in transportprofil (param missin..

****************************************************************************

Check Transport Directory:- All the below tests (create, read & delete) have errors

1) Transport Directory:

bin -
imo45\transport\trans\bin

buffer -
imo45\transport\trans\buffer

cofiles -
imo45\transport\trans\cofiles

data -
imo45\transport\trans\data

log -
imo45\transport\trans\log

sapnames -
imo45\transport\trans\sapnames

tmp -
imo45\transport\trans\tmp

***********************************************************************

The above info is what I have found with the three tests in STMS. Please help me to fix this.

Thanks

Hi Vijay,

Looks like issues exist in TP connect and access to the trans directory.

Each of the test failed has a small error sign near the result. Click on the

icon and we can get more detailed information regarding the errors.

- Link to DB failed is normally due to wrong environment variables.

- Error in trans directory access would be related to security/shared properties

not set correctly.

Hi Vijay,

You would need to check the STMS settings for the production system.

The error you mentioned normally occurs when the <sid>adm and

SAPService<sid> users do not have read/write access to the trans directory.

Goto tcode STMS - > Overview -> systems. Select the system and choose all the

three tests from the Menu entry "Check".
