**PROBLEM WITH ADAPTER ENGINER**

Ok,

This has been bothering me for quite a while now. We are using PI 7.0 a new instance. Post installation steps were completed. There were some issues with Adapter type. like intially unable to get the list of adapters in the CC it was resolved.

But now typical prob is for the adapters installed on the ABAP STACK like IDOC........ ADAPTER ENGINE parameter in the CC is Able to loacte the Integration Sever but once any other adapters are selected that are on J2EE stack ex File Adapter Engine is BLANK in the CC. It is unable to locate.

Any IDEAS to resolve the prob? 10/10 guaranteed for the solution.

In the post installation

step no 5 Configure Integration sever

Initially

STEP 0 THIS WIZARD WILL CONFIURE INTEGRATION SEVER FOR SLD STATE IS SET TO UI WIZARD NO STATE

STEP 1 THIS WIZARD WILL CONFIURE INTEGRATION SEVER FOR SLD STATE IS SET TO NOT EXECUTED YET

ONCE -> INSTALL IS SELECTED CAN SEE THE FOLLOWING ERROR

there is no easy answer when we don't see your system

it can be:

- issue with CPAcache

- issue with adapter engine in SLD

if you resolve these two for sure you will see adapter engine in directory
