Schemas?

Hi

We are preparing to do some integration via Web Services from a .Net application into SAP. We will only be reading data initially.

I'm currently unable to find any WSDL schema's or general data models for SAP on this site? Are these things not documented? Specifically we will be wanting to extract data from the Financials module.

Regards

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

you can have a look at our Enterprise Services:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/explore-es

Or if you want to connect to an older release you can publish any remote enabled RFC function module as a web service.

Best regards,

Thanks for the info, I have started reading through these pages but I still cannot find any schemas.

We are currently setting up access to the RAC system so we can develop our solution, but I was hoping to have some more detailed reading materials.

Reading through the "Enterprise Services Documentation" that i have downloaded, I seem to have the functions to find and create objects. But I cannot find details of the data containted within these business objects. Is this information available?

Hi Andrew,

check the paper SAP Web Services and Visual Studio 2005 at http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/7/f/57f1490e-8a8d-497b-bbae-ec2a44b3799f/SAPNetweaverWebSer..., here you will find a detailed walk-through of how to expose Web Services and where to get the WSDL from and how to consume them in VS 2005. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
