We have installed STANDBY server using "homogenious system copy"

Method. I want to update daily production data to standby server. How?

If it is though archive log files can you tell me the process?

What are the other options for update daily data of production server

to standby server?

we are using oracle 9.2.0 r/3: 4.7ee

Thanks & Regards,

You might want to check in to Oracle Data Guard. Works great.

Hi Mahendra,

You have copy all the offline redo logfiles which were generated by production to the hotstandby system, using the script at os level .

After copy apply the same to hotstandy system .

Please find the same in the below link .
