'Delivery item is not or only partially packed'

Hi,

When i creating the delivery, then do picking.....Picking is fine.

But when i press the button 'Post goods issue'.

it popups:

'Delivery item is not or only partially packed'

What should i do??

Hi

THis error is due to not packing the material.. now you select the line item and pack it and do the PGI...

It will work now.

Hi.

After picking select the line item goto edit pack

Enter the packing material -> enter

Select the line item with material to be pack and then select the packaging material line item and click on the icon pack .

Save

Hi,

I just have tried to pack the material...

But below msg popups...

'AAABE does not have packaging material type and is therefore not a pack.mat.'

What does that mean??

I checked the material type of this material, it is 'Trading Goods' not 'Packaging'.

Thus i couldnt do the PGI?

Why have to pack the material ??

Anywhere could let me see that we have to do the pack then could do PGI??

Hi Hoo Laa,

I think you are using material AAABE in the delivery. Please use T-code MM02 and enter the value Material Group: Packaging Materials (BASIC DATA 1 screen)as Cartoons/ plastics or any other input as avalilable in F4 screen. Also the same field is available on SALES:General / Plant screen.

If the above is done please do the following settings too for PACKING the material : IMG> Logistics Execution> Shipping > Packing> Define Allowed Packaging Materials (Here you define the combination of Material Group: Packaging Materials and Packaging Material Type) .

I was getting the same error. I added the handling unit as mentioned below and now I'm betting the below message.

System could not find a Tracking Number for HU 11028511; Enter Tracking Number.

Hi,

Go to VL02N, edit -- packing, select the bottom line item and the handling unit and press the button pack. after which do PGI.
