Hello ,
Could you please tell me the difference between the cash account and revenue account.

Cash account is the account in which cash trasaction takes place like Cash sales etc. It has a seperate accounting key EVV.
Revenue account are tha ccounts which handles rest of the financial transactions.
Like Price, discounts, frieght, rebates etc.
The accounting keys used are ERL, ERS, ERF, ERB , ERU etc.

cash account is for cash sales which is represented by EVV
and revenue account is for ro , or etc and represented by ERL
evv will be posted to petty cash account
