hi Stefan,

you create your own interactive form, as per ur requirements.

its almost the same as your Dynpro programming.

the difference being that your ui elements are on the pdf form insted of a dynpro layout.

plus the added advantage that you can save data in this form offline and later submit online.

working on the form offline is called "offline scenario"

working on the form online is called "online scenario"

all ur ui elements are bound to context like in Dynpro layout.

when you upload the form on line... you get the data in the Dynpro Context.

and you can use get/set methods on Context Attributes to get data from/ modify contents of the interactive form.

hope this helps.

Hi Amol,

thanks very much for the quick response. My question was in regards to the forms which are originally shipped by SAP or by partners.

I don't want to reinvent the whell.

Kind regards,

Stefan

hi Stefan,

if you are talking about the Adobe interactive forms.

they are created by Netweaver in the adobe lifecycle designer.

if you have got a form, a pdf form, it must have been created by someone, in netweaver through adobe lifecycle designer embedded in the netweaver.

like we have created a form for our client, we extract the pdf and give it to the clients. they fill it and upload it later on the portal. all data of the form is extracted into dynpro context and then you can do anything with/on it.

and its not at all a big thing to create an interactive form, u just need adobe lifecycle designer installed within your netweaver and ADS configured on J2EE engine.

Hi,

Just put a generic search in SFP transaction at the form name.
