what is the functionality of cerdit active in item category

Hi Manish,

The selecting the Credit active field in the item category we configure that the item category determined in the sales order / Delivery is relevant of Credit check.

If the same is not selected then even though we have defined the Credit limit of the customer the same will not be active. That is no check will be performed untill you select the option in the Item category.

The credit control area can be automatically determined using the configuration IMG> Enterprise structure>Assignment >Sales & Distribution>Assign sales area to credit control area.

Hi

Checking this field will activate credit management functions (credit checks and updating statistics) for perticular item category .

This credit management is activated for the order, delivery, or PGI.
