Issue with SLD config for webdynpro in NW 2004s/7 preview edition

Former Member

Hi,

I have NSP (NW 2007s Abap) + J2E (java) installed on same pc.

NSP system 02

Client 000

I am not able to have NSP communicate and properly update SLD on J2E.

In Rz70 I entered sapgw02 as gateway and localhost and host and get connection problem issues.

SLD itself is running fine, J2E connected and registered itself automatically. But NSP will not even manually registration doesn't work.

Thank you

It doesn show up under ABAP systems,

The reason is probably because when I run rz70 gives short dump when I run it.

Even when I enter

host : localhost

service : sapgw02

But in the error message of rz70 failing it complains it couldnt connect to averatec:sapgw02 (averatec is my pc name). Now averatec is 10.10.1.10 and not 127.0.0.1 as localhost. Could this be the problem, if so how can I fix this?

Thanks

Hi,

if you need to force a change of ip association, modify the windows host file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (if using windows).

In Visual Admin, under SLD data privider

Under Runtime - tab CIM Client Generation Settings.

There is a big list of application to which I can grant permissions to protected domain.

I have not granted permission to any,

Should I and which ones?

Thank you

Hi,

Please run transaction "SLDCHECK" in the NSP system. Maintain the required

RFC destinations and entries in SLDAPICUST transaction also.

retrieving data from the sld server

Function call terminated successfully

No Busienss systems maintina int the SLD

Check data integrity within the SLD!

Hello,

The result looks perfect. Does the SLD home page also open up when you run the

SLDCHECK? If yes, please login to the SLD using the j2ee_admin user and goto

"Technical systems". The NSP should be there.

Hi,

SLD provider is running OK.

In Visual Admin, I get success on triggering data transer to SLD.

Could it be incorrect settings in RZ70?

Thank you

Hi,

did you put the sld config in visual administrator of j2ee? (see sld provider).
