I am wandering if the performance of the Demand Planning can be improved by building aggregates on the Infocube PLOB .
Are there other measures which can be taken to improve the performance ?
Thanks
Vereecken, Jan
Building aggregates will improve performance under a few conditions
As far as reading of data in interactive demand planning books are concerned
for seeing visible improvement in loading data you need to ensure that the data is loaded at the exact characteristic level at which you create the aggregates.
While saving data at any level, it is also calculated and written at the aggregate levels (and hence takes more time to save).
If you load data at a level that is not matching with the aggregates there will be no great performance improvements
