Hi,

Our company wants to perform few clients copies, and they only want to copy the configurations to this new client. This mean I need to only copy SAP_CUST profile to new clients? Correct?

Please advice on this?

Thanks

Kumar

Hi Kumar,

Correct! Use the transaction SCCL with profile SAP_CUST.

Hope this will solve your question.

Please reward points.

Hi,

Yesy you are perfectly right. Just create the client in SCC4 in your source client and then login to the target client using sap* and pass andthen using sccl perform the client copy. Also if the sap*/pass doesnot allow you to login then add a parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 using transaction rz10 in your client 000.

regards and reward with good points for the help!!!!!

Hi,

Firstly u have to create a new client by loging with SAP* or DDIC, in client 000.

Make an entry of new client in SCC4, and give the description.

Now login into tat client with sap* and password PASS,Now with SCCL copy the client data locally, it ask u for some infomation before client copy, like Cross client, client dependent or Independent and so on. Give the information as per ur company requirment.

Now copy the Component SAP_CUST, by selecting this option. Procedure to select is Just mark beside this Component.

this is the correct way to copy the client data, which SAP reccommends.

Apart from this if u want to select other data, u can follow the same path.

Syed.

Hi,

You have to create a new client for target client and run SCCL in the new client giving source client detail with profile SAP_CUST.

"Points for help".
