message mapping question

hi guys,

i am a xi beginner, i meet a question,when i am create message mapping, i find the menu button is disable except the button which name is selete message at the desgin tab. for example, dependencies button is disable. i don't know what is the mean, can you give some advise and information.

i am sure,if your the jdk version you installed was not jdk1.4.2, this issue occurs.

please install jdk1.4.2.each button will be ok.

Thanks for the info. I have several Java version (upto 6.0_02) installed. I am currently using 1.4.2_10. And still it does work. Do I need 1.4.2 exactly? - Thanks

Hey I got the same issue. Several buttons are disabled in message mapping. And they stay like this after my mapping are completed. I did not have this issue before. I was able to press dependencies button before. I do not know what could have caused this.

Help is appreciated.

Hi,

When u create message mapping it will be in disable mode after once u map source datatype and target datatype then it will be in enable mode then u can click on dependencies button.
