eCl@ss attributes in MDM

Hi,

does anybody have any experience with the use of the great amount of eCl@ss attributes in a MDM repository?

Any special things to consider due to the many attributes?

I would say the danger is to load duplicate attributes because the same attribute is assigned to more than one category.

to avoid that, load the entire eclass taxonomy before any content. and run automap when you load content, to map automatically the incoming attributes with the ones of the taxonomy. create a dedicated remote system for eclass to enable key mapping.

volume is a non-issue. eventually you will have to wait 3 minutes.....
