Hi,
We upgraded to service pack 12 and after that I am having problems activating my changes.
I can check them so they are seen in the inactive space of the DTR.
When I try to activate the changes it stays in queued state.
Even as admin on CBS I am not able to activate them.
The files are not locked.
Any idea why it is not getting activated.
Can you please help?
thanks
Padmaja
How can we delete the old queued requests ?
Please reply.

Hi Padmaja,
Its quite simple.
Go to visual administrator in this path c:\usr\sap\SID\JCxx\j2ee\admin
go.bat
login thr administrator credentials
Then got to Instnace>server--
>services
You can see "Component build services" tab there.Click on there.
On the right hand side ,you can see some properties in the sheet.
There,you edit these properties,
1.Set build_tool_JDKhome
2.JDK_home_path.......Both these parameters should be updated with correct JDK path and version
3.You can find below "idle start" parameter and set it to "false"
Important thing is,you can to save after doing this changes. After that "CBS " service will be re-started.
but, before trying again to update ur CBS,delete the old queue and retry.
rewrad points if helpful...............

Hi, Padmaja,
could it be that CBS service property <idleStart> is set to <true>? If that is the case, then CBS is "idle", meaning it "accumulates" requests but doesn't process them
Regards,
Andy
