MS Ofiice documents cannot be edited or shown

I have the problem, that the th MS Office documents cannnot be edited or shown via Tx. solarXX

Is there some activations steps for this issue in SAP system?

Hello Axel,

Even we had similar problem. Please check for the version of GUI installed. Some users who had GUI 6.40 / 7.10 were not able to display/edit documents in Solution Managerin T - SOLARxx. When contacted SAP, we were asked to check for IE version and GUI version for all the users who were not able to display the documents and download the patch for GUI 7.10.

We downloaded and applied the latest Patch Level 4 for GUI for Windows 710 Core for all the systems and it worked.

Service Market Place --> Installations & Upgrades -->SAP Frontend Components -->SAP GUI for Windows -->SAP GUI for Windows 7.10 CORE

Try and download latest patch for GUI and install it. Let me know if it works.
